I sent the adjuster a message asking why this was taking so long. I am rejecting this response because: when I check the status of my claim it says it is still being reviewed and no payments have been made. Why should they get away with only paying ****? I have tried many times to try to get this problem resolved, nothing I do is working. As I said before, my current damages are over ****** to repair. My house is not a safe environment to live in because of the damage and this is November when its cold and I have still not received payment of *****. I pay my policy on time every year and this is just not right. When calling the company, they said they would have *******************************, the adjuster to call us or would have his supervisor call. When the adjuster came to my house, he could see that the walls had black mold 3 foot up the Sheetrock and was still wet. The receipts they are asking for did not last as being printed receipts. They company also took pictures of the damage in 2016 for which if they compare the pictures to the damage now, floors and walls have all been repaired. My lawyer sent them a letter stating that their company should not have issued a new policy without inspecting the repairs over six years ago. They would not give a response. This company is wanting to settle with me for *****. I had a contractor come give me an estimate for the damages and that was approximately ******. When I got a copy of the adjustments back, he stated they could not give any allowances on the 2 back bedrooms that were flooded due to the reason that I had no repair receipts from the last flood that occurred over six years ago. A claim was filed, the adjuster came and did his estimates on damage which he was rude and in a hurry. I have wright national flood insurance company. My house was flooded in August of this year.
